Katie grew up in St Albans and attended Sandringham School. Working within hearing care appealed to her, as she already had some knowledge about hearing loss. Katie’s daughter is hard of hearing and has worn hearing aids for some time, so joining The Hearing Clinic team seemed like the perfect career choice. 

Katie manages the administration of APD assessments and report prep for APD, does invoicing and end-of-month reconciliation with the accountant, books appointments and does some report typing. She loves working within a small team and how everyone is on hand to help each other if needed. 

Since joining the clinic, Katie says she has really learnt a lot about audiology, which she feels gives her a better understanding of what her daughter goes through. Katie also likes helping patients where she can with small repairs on their hearing aids. 

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her partner, children and the rest of her family, especially on fun days out and going on holidays. She also looks forward to family dinners, be they in restaurants or at home, as Katie really loves cooking from scratch and baking at home.
