Right for you if: you lead an active social or professional life and want your hearing aids to keep up with every environment you’re in.
Total Package From
£5,290
Advanced Hearing Care
A balance of advanced technology and value. Advanced hearing aids perform well across most everyday listening situations and include effective noise reduction and wireless connectivity.
This technology is suited to people with a moderately active lifestyle. The audiological care package is identical to Premium.
Right for you if: you want good hearing performance across most situations without the premium price of the very latest technology tier.
Total Package From

Standard Hearing Care
Our entry-level hearing aid package – but entry-level devices, not entry-level care. The clinical assessment, fitting, aftercare and support are identical across all three tiers. Standard hearing aids suit people with more straightforward hearing needs or quieter listening environments.
Right for you if: your listening environment is primarily quieter settings – home, one-to-one conversations – and you want reliable, professionally fitted hearing aids at a more accessible price point.

What’s included in every care plan
Comprehensive diagnostic assessment
Before we recommend any hearing aids, we first take the time to find out what is most important to you. No two people have the same lifestyle – whether it is hearing music more clearly or being able to hear confidently at work, we make sure that every aspect of your life is taken into account.
We then carry out a full diagnostic hearing assessment to understand your specific pattern of hearing loss and how it affects your daily life. This is much more in-depth than a high-street ‘beep test.’ Our five audiological procedures enable us to fully grasp the whole auditory system, including measuring how you hear speech in noisy places (like restaurants). This in-depth testing is why our hearing appointments are 2 hours long – it allows us to develop a hearing solution that’s specifically tailored to you and your lifestyle.
Expert fitting with real-ear measurement
Real-ear measurement is the clinical gold standard for hearing aid fitting – it uses a tiny microphone placed in your ear canal to verify that your hearing aids are programmed accurately for your specific anatomy, not just a generic prescription. Many high-street providers don’t carry out real-ear measurement routinely.
Hearing optimisation programme
A structured aural rehabilitation programme that helps your brain adapt to amplification – significantly improving long-term outcomes, particularly in complex listening environments. We also ensure there is plenty of time to help you become confident with your hearing aids. Nothing is rushed, so you will feel completely comfortable using your hearing aids to their full potential.
Four-year maintenance plan
Because hearing can gradually change over time, it is important to attend annual checkups to ensure your hearing aids deliver the best sound for you. Also, since hearing aids are usually worn all day, every day, it is important to get them serviced once a year. Our 4-year maintenance plan includes regular servicing, annual hearing reviews, ongoing hearing aid programming adjustments, and support from your audiologist as needed throughout the four years.
Four-year warranty
Covers service and repairs on your devices throughout the care plan period.
This is what one of our patients has to say about our hearing aids:
“Hearing the world again”
The Hearing Clinic made the experience of having hearing aids fitted a very positive one. The hearing test felt very thorough and professional, and everything was explained clearly at each stage. I felt in safe and confident hands throughout.
The fitting of my Starkey hearing aids was handled with care and patience, and I was given time to understand how they worked and what to expect. What could have felt daunting was made reassuring and straightforward. A special surprise was hearing birdsong from the churchyard opposite. I was slightly overwhelmed and moved to hear this lost sound again.
I would highly recommend The Hearing Clinic to anyone considering hearing aids.
Private hearing aid cost vs. the high street
When you buy hearing aids from a high-street provider or online, you’re primarily buying devices. What you often don’t get is the quality of assessment, fitting and follow-up care that determines whether those devices actually work for you. Research consistently shows that a poorly fitted hearing aid – however advanced the technology – delivers a fraction of the benefit of a well-fitted one.
Broken down over four years, our packages represent less than £4 per day – for hearing that works, reliably, in the situations that matter to you.
Better hearing is an investment. We make sure it’s one that pays off

The difference is primarily in the clinical expertise, time, and follow-up care included in the package – not just the devices. Our packages include real-ear measurement verification, a structured aural rehabilitation programme, four years of annual servicing, reviews and adjustments, and support from your audiologist throughout. Well-fitted, well-supported hearing aids deliver significantly better outcomes than ones that aren’t – and our packages are designed to give you the best possible long-term result from your investment.
The care package – assessment, fitting, aftercare, reviews and support – is identical across all three tiers. The difference is in the hearing aid technology itself. Premium devices offer the most advanced noise reduction and sound processing, making them particularly effective in complex listening environments. Advanced devices perform very well across most everyday situations. Standard devices suit more straightforward hearing needs and quieter environments. We’ll recommend the right tier for your specific hearing loss and lifestyle at your assessment.
Yes. We offer a trial period so you can experience how hearing aids work in your own daily environment before making a final decision. We’ll discuss the trial process and what it involves at your assessment appointment.
Payment for hearing aids is due at the fitting appointment – not at the point of booking.
Hearing aids and associated professional fees are not typically covered by health insurance, but we’d recommend checking with your provider. We’re happy to provide documentation your insurer requires.
We’ll discuss renewal options with you as your plan approaches its end date. Most patients choose to upgrade their devices and begin a new care plan at this point, benefiting from the latest hearing aid technology.
