Angelique grew up and attended school in Cape Town, South Africa, before earning her degree in audiology from the University of Cape Town. 

Wanting to make a meaningful difference in people's lives, Angelique chose to pursue a career in hearing care. She shares that helping individuals hear more clearly and engage fully with their loved ones, as well as with the world around them, is incredibly fulfilling, and she is passionate about making that difference. 

At The Hearing Clinic, Angelique’s responsibilities include assessing hearing in both adults and children, diagnosing and managing hearing difficulties, and fitting and adjusting hearing aids. She provides personalised hearing care solutions while educating and supporting patients on their journeys to better hearing.  

Angelique also specialises in auditory processing disorder (APD), which involves conducting assessments and providing tailored management plans. Additionally, she performs earwax removals and takes 3D scans and impressions for custom earplugs and hearing protection. 

There are several aspects to her role that Angelique especially enjoys. She loves the relationships and friendships she builds with patients. The combination of patient care, advanced technology, and problem-solving also keeps her role both engaging and fulfilling. However, she finds it most rewarding to make a meaningful impact on people's lives through improving their hearing and helping them regain their confidence in their communication.  

Outside of work, Angelique enjoys spending time with her kids, family, and friends. She likes eating out, travelling and exploring the UK. Most of all, she cherishes watching her children grow and experience new things.
