Zhuqeelah Scott
Clinical Audiologist
Zhuqeelah qualified in Audiology at the University of Cape Town and, before moving to the UK in 2022, worked in a government tertiary hospital, in private practice, and in a clinical educator role at the University of Cape Town. Prior to joining The Hearing Clinic she worked at a high street hearing company.
Zhuqeelah’s passion for audiology started from her own family experience. She saw the difference hearing aids made to her mother’s life. “It completely changed everything as it made communicating so much easier,” she explains.
Zhuqeelah wanted to join The Hearing Clinic because the clinic’s patient-centred approach to care resonated with her. “A patient’s hearing healthcare should be looked at holistically,” she says. “The team truly cares about their patients and takes special care to implement an individualised approach.”
Zhuqeelah is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She also belongs to the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists and the British Academy of Audiology. A Stevenage resident, she enjoys exploring the towns and villages around the area in her spare time. She’s also a keen foodie and likes to recreate new recipes.
